Ali Elsayed is an author, an accomplished nasheed artist, vocalist, and writer of devotional poetry - having produced multiple Arabic and English nasheed Albums.
Ali was born and raised in Lebanon. He moved to the US in the early nineties where he met his teachers in the Islamic science of tasawuff (Sufism), Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani, and his representative in North America at the time, Shaykh Hisham Kabbani. Ali spent over 20 years under the tutelage of such great teachers in Tasawuff. For over 20 years he visited them and accompanied them on their travels all over the world, spreading the teachings of the classical Islam of Ahlis-Sunnah wal Jama'ah, leading and conducting dhikr circles all over the world and singing the love poetry of Sufism.
Ali is also an author of Islamic poetry, Islamic children's books and has translated many Islamic spirituality books from Arabic to English. His songs originate from the spiritual path he has travelled on for the last 20 years, the path of love and self-discovery, the path of Sufi Islam.
Ali Elsayed is also the representative of the Tariqah Naqshbandiya Aliya in the United States and Canada. He currently resides in Toronto, Canada, and has been appointed to travel and spread the teachings of Islamic spirituality, love, and tolerance in both countries.

Shaykh Muhammad Adil al Haqqani is the 41st Shaykh in the golden chain of the Naqshabandi Tariqa (Sufi Path). He was born on 29 March 1957 in Damascus and is of Turkish Cypriot descent. He is the eldest son and successor of Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani (Q).
Shaykh Muhammad's father, Shaykh Muhammad Nazim (Q) is of the lineage of the founder of the Qadiriyya Tariqa, Abdul-Qadir Gilani, while his great grandmother is of the lineage of the founder of the Mawlawi Tariqa, Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi. From his father’s side, his lineage goes back to the family of the Prophet Muhammad.
Shaykh Muhammad's mother, Hajjah Amina Sultan Hanim, is the daughter of a Tatar family who migrated to Sham Sharif (the Levant), through Anatolia of the Ottoman Empire due to the start of anti-religious policies of Communist countries of the time. She is originally from the Orenburg Bakey town of the Republic of Tatarstan, a subject of the Russian Federation.
